Jim Bishop

Last week, I wrote about Jim Bishop and his rants - see 'Unfinished business". Then I had my own wee 'au jus' rant down the left hand column the other day. But if you really want to hear a rant, I've worked out how to upload the little film I took of Jim going full tilt. Here it is................

Thank goodness for freedom of speach, something dear to USA democracy and just hoping the nut cases stay over there!
P.S. Can't wait to see Steve in those cowboy boots!

According to legend, the point was used as a corral for the wild mustangs which roamed the mesa. Cowboys rounded these horses up, then herded them across the narrow neck of land and onto the point. The neck is only 30 yards wide, and the cowboys fenced it off with branches and brush, creating a natural corral surrounded by the precipitous cliffs. Then they chose the horses they wanted and (just the one time? I don't know) left the other horses corralled on the waterless point, where they died of thirst within view of the Colorado River 2,000 feet below. I don't like this story.
